Andrew J. Cafiero
Andrew J. Cafiero was born and raised in Cape May County. He has been practicing law in New Jersey for more than 20 years. Mr. Cafiero graduated from Muhlenberg College located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He pursued his legal studies at Thomas Cooley Law School located in Lansing, Michigan. Andrew has been with the law firm of Cafiero & Kaufmann, P.A. since 1990.
Andrew currently serves as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Wildwood and the Borough of Avalon. He maintains a private practice specializing in personal injury, business law, school law and real estate. Andrew has diligently and effectively handled hundreds of personal injury claims during which time he has obtained substantial and well-deserved monetary recoveries for his clients.
Mr. Cafiero was the Solicitor for the Wildwood School District from 2004 to 2017 wherein which time he has handled many complex issues involving students, teachers, administrators and the District.
Andrew served faithfully as the Public Defender for the Borough of Wildwood Crest from 1993 to 2017. He also served as Public Defender for Dennis Township between 1992 and 1994.
Mr. Cafiero is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third District and the Supreme Court of the United States. He also has been a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, New Jersey State Bar Association and Cape May County Bar Association.
